Bridgestone BT 016

The front and rear wheels of the new Bridgestone Battlax BT 016 Pro have the well-known Bridgestone multi-layer compound technologies. Two different rubber compounds are used on both wheels using the 3LC (Three Layer Compound) process: The compound in the middle of the tread ensures good braking power transmission on the front wheel and high traction and mileage on the rear wheel, while the rubber compound on the tire shoulder is responsible for maximum adhesion in an inclined position.

The rubber compounds used in the BT 016 Pro have been completely redeveloped and give the BT 016 Pro further improved wet grip, while at the same time increasing mileage. The technologies "Silica Rich EX" (increased silica content in the mixture) and "RC Polymer" are used. "RC Polymer" supports the silica effect and at the same time controls the temperature-dependent change in the rubber compound.
